Grazing Weeners

Our dogs are raised in a loving home on a 3 acre homestead, and spend each day hunting lizards, herding chickens, and basking in the sun. We crate train them and socialize them by traveling to baseball tournaments and rodeos across the state.

Manners are a top priority as far as training goes. We only breed confident and charismatic dogs. Some will be shown, but title or not our dogs will represent the breed well, which the American Kennel Club (AKC) considers  as low to the ground, long in body, and short of leg, with a robust muscular development and an alert, intelligent expression. Dachshunds are bred to hunt badgers and other underground game, so we try to raise they in an environment that allows their natural instincts to thrive.

Our AKC-registered Dachshunds are bred for calm, confident temperaments and correct conformation. Our five females combine American and imported bloodlines and are lovingly raised on our farm, well-socialized for family life with people, places, and animals.

Our Females

Hidden Cedars Torch it All Mw - “Paris”

She comes from Hidden Cedars in Texas, and honest to her name she has a little fire to her personality. She is as mini as a mini comes, and you know what they say… dynamite comes in small packages! Paris is a dream girl, and made me wait a good long 9 months to accept me as her human, but when she commits to something she does it with all her heart. Thankful to love her and very excited to see her go out for her first title this year. We intend on Paris being our first finished bitch, ideally in field and confirmation by the spring of 2027.

She is a miniature wild boar wire hair dachshund. We will be interviewing handsome studs for her as soon as she brings home her crown. She is 8lbs.

Jessie’s Little Whiskey Blue -  “Whiskey”

She is our whiney-est weiner. The most avid hunter. If you’re going, she’s going… or she’ll cry about it until you cave. If there’s a bag on the floor she’s in it. If the baby didn’t finish his lunch she will. She’s the golden nugget of mamas, throwing huge litters and caring for them like an absolute champ. She was the first, daddy’s forever baby girl, and will remain the Matriarch of Grazing Weeners forever. Whiskey is a miniature blue based shaded cream smooth coat and is our only bitch capable of producing long hair puppies when paired correctly. She is 10lbs.

Wonder Woman Du Clos De L‘Estinai - “Vienna”

The name is Italian, but she is from Spanish and Russian royalty! She is as pretty as they come. She wasn’t a fan of farm life so she is an only child in St. Augustine dutifully raising 3 high schoolers. She protects them from lizards and supervisors all transportation. The jewels on her neck reflect her royal perfection. She is a perfectly mannered lap princess, and sweet mother. Vienna is a miniature black and tan wire haired dachshund. She is 9lbs.

I am desperate to keep a daughter from her so her 2026 pairing is my highest priority. Line up your boys, she will be ready in March! Ideally I’d like a finished wire stud (of any color), or a finished dapple smooth stud.

Grazing Weeners Graycie - “Graycie Lou”

My rocking chair dog and first baby. She’s the gentle giant of the group. Our biggest female and only one of our girls considered a “tweenie” not a true mini, but she is still only 12lb. She is the most laid back and loving of the pack and the only one trusted to play with puppy litters, and is going to make a fantastic mother. She and our son play with toys together, stealing from one another over and over again. Graycie is from an Argentine wire show bitch, and an American stud. Her unique color is from her mom, wild boar smooth coat. She will be bred the first time in 2026, and we hope to pass on her excellent temperament to some chocolate dapple puppies.

Dalmarfloridachs Gaias Good Grayces - “Gaia”

The baby girl of the pack. She is our son's birthday twin, both turning ONE year old in January! Her parents' laid back and sweet personalities shine through and make her everything we love. If you're sitting, she’s climbing in your lap. If you’re standing, she’s sitting on your feet. She wants to be where her people are, and there is nothing she won’t do to keep up with us. She and Layton really share a special bond and love swinging beneath the oak tree together each day.

Gaia is a black and tan smooth coat, and carries chocolate. She will be a mama at the end of 2026 if all things line up. Watching her grow was a highlight of 2025, and cannot wait to see how she elevates our program in the future. She is 9lbs.
