Nature-Based Learning
(Ages 2–12)
Nature-based learning for homeschool families! Hands-on animal care, gardening, outdoor exploration, and unstructured play.
Develop responsibility, problem-solving skills & a deep connection to nature.
Grazing Grayce Lane is a nature-based farm school serving homeschool families through experiential learning. Students engage in animal care, gardening, outdoor exploration, and unstructured play while developing responsibility, problem-solving skills, and a strong connection to the natural world. We are in the process of becoming a provider for Step Up For Students, and are hopeful to start accepting funding by summer 2026.
Our classes are offered a la carte at $20 per class. Discounts for families with multiple children. Most classes are open to and appropriate for ages 2-10. This is not a drop off opportunity, this is a chance to learn and bond with your child in a new environment.
Many craft based classes will be offered as well, all centered around nature.
Class Schedules will be posted on our facebook page as soon as we release them. Please follow our page to keep up with the most current information.
Class Offerings
Weener Dog Wednesday
Learn about the dachshund breed and participate in general care for dogs; bathing, grooming, feeding, playing, training. And of course… end the day eating hot dogs!

Rise & Shine
Morning chores on the farm that teach practical farm skills combined with animal husbandry and sweet farm snuggles.
Seed Starters
Paint a pot and learn how to germinate garden seeds as they dry! This is the start of a series of gardening classes.

Animal Education
Walk through three acres of the homestead and learn a little about each animal while engaging with them and handing out special treats. Class will end with a craft.
Vermiculture
I dig it! Worms that is. We will play with worms, learn their importance in the garden, and you even get to take some home if you want. We will end class with a “muddy” treat!
